Do a search for Christmas clipart and you will discover the world's concept of Christmas.
You will get page after page of Santa Clause, reindeer, trees, elves, candy canes etc.

What's wrong with that?

2Cor. 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Satan has twisted the true meaning of Christmas, he desires to keep people blind to the truth of Jesus Christ. Why do you think there's so much controversy? Often Satan works through unsaved people to hinder the truth. As Christians we must let the light shine, how else will people know about Christ if we become silent or are deceived ourselves.

Just think about it

Christmas has been reduced down to Santa, elves, Rudolf, snow white Christmas, sales gimmicks etc. Take a drive and look at all the glitter, how much of it points to our Lord and Savior?

We have attributed to Santa the powers of Almighty God.

We tell our children, you better watch out! Santa knows when you are bad, Santa knows when you are good. Santa will go all over the earth tonight and deliver gifts to all. We line our children up to sit on his lap to make their requests know to him.

Well, is this a lie or not?

Col 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

What a way to start off a child in life. The very first thing he or she believes is a big lie.
How sad we haven't taught them to kneel and offer their prayers to their Creator.

I'm sure that most of us Christians tell our children the real reason for Christmas. Hopefully!

Some people argue that Dec.25th was not the birth date of Jesus. So? Does it really matter?
It is just a day we set aside to honor His birth.

Look at Easter

What does the world see? Easter eggs, bunnies, chickens, etc. Why do you think that is?

The birth, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Satan's defeat!!!

When Jesus Christ was born, died and rose again He made possible mankind's salvation. This sent Satan into a panic plan of deception, to keep people from the truth.

Personally

In my early years as a Christian, one year I got a Christmas card with Santa Clause on the front. As I looked at it, I heard the Lord say to me, "that is offensive to me" I immediately tore it up and threw it in the trash. The card was from someone that I loved very much; my dear mom.

Matthew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

How much of our Christmas decoration reflects on His Majesty King Jesus?
How much on the truth of Easter?

I recently attended my grandson's 6th grade Christmas concert. I noticed the Menorah and several other displays but never seen anything that represented the birth of Christ. All of the songs of the 1st. and second grade classes sing jingle bells, Santa etc. They did sing a song Happy Hanukah.

The 6th grade class put on a skit that was supposed to be about Joseph and Mary. The song that they sung was about a pilgrim traveling through the land. If I were a stranger to the story of Christ I would have never know what it was about. Jesus was not once mentioned. The classic songs Silent night, Joy to the world, Oh little town of Bethlehem, etc were silently missing.

Everyone is so desperately trying to be politically correct. The public school system along with cities, towns and even governmental offices are terrified of the ACLU. Some are so concerned over offending someone that they can't even say Merry Christmas. I can understand saying Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I understand that not every one is a Christian but I AM. Where is my constitutional right of freedom of speech and religion

I personally don't care what people think, the question is, " What does my Lord think? "
