3. Prophecies concerning Israel

Contrary to what some think, God is not finished with Israel. They are still in His plans and are the timepiece for His Prophetic timeline.

Romans 11:1-12 What shall I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew......

Basically Israel's rejection of their Messiah as a nation at His 1st. coming, became the hope of the Gentiles, as the scriptures says ( in Him shall the Gentiles hope)

At this present time Israel is laid aside but not finished with. God in His time line is calling
out a people all over the world, by faith in the messiah  Jesus Christ. When Messiah returns to the earth, the Jews will look upon Him whom they pierced and as a nation will accept King Jesus. Hallelujah!

Zechariah 12:10-14    see Ch.13-14
Vs.10   And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

1948 AD to present

Genesis 15:13 “Hebrews  would be slaves in Egypt 400 yrs.”

Exodus 12:40 “Hebrews set free”

Fulfilled 700-600 BC

Deuteronomy 28:64 If Jews don’t keep God’s covenant then the Lord will scatter you among all nations”

Isaiah 66:22 “God would preserve them even scattered among the nations”

 

 

 


 

Jeremiah 32:36-37 “Judah would go into Babylonian captivity”

Jeremiah 32:36-37 “God would bring them back to their home land, from Babylonian captivity

Ezekiel 34:13 “God would bring them back to their homeland”

 

 

Amos 9:14-15 “God will bring them back to their land and never be uprooted again”

Ezekiel 37:10-14 “Israel (dry bones) is brought back to life”
(fulfilled 1948)

Isaiah 66:7-8 “Israel born as a nation in one day”(1948)

Ezekiel 37:21-22 “Israel would be one nation no longer divided”

Zech 12:2-3 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about and in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces.

Israel in the future 
 

Daniel 9:27 ...Israel makes a covenant with antichrist – temple rebuilt

Revelation 12:13-17…will be persecuted by antichrist after he breaks pact with them.

Zechariah 12:10…will receive Jesus Christ as their Messiah when He returns (Romans 11:25-)

Isaiah 2:1-4, Micah 4:1-7…Israel will be established as the prime nation of the world during Christ’s millennial reign.

Zechariah 8:22-23   God’s blessings will flow out to all the nations through the Jewish people during the Millennial reign of King Jesus
