Around 4:30 am. this morning the Lord begin to speak these things to me.

"Call down fire upon  all these preachers who have made merchandise of my people here in the USA, that all their ill gotten gains would be stripped from them."

I mentioned this scripture to the Lord.

Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?

Luke 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

He said to me: "The fire is not for destruction but for healing.

He gave me a long list of names and a list of unknowns. I asked the Lord to send a purging fire upon all this list of names and that they would be brought to their knees in repentance.

That all the ill gotten assets would be stripped from them and be given back to the true work of Christ. I prayed for healing for all those that have been tossed to and fro and hurt by their Gospel of greed. I prayed and asked the Lord to heal our covetous hearts and that we would return to our first Love before it is to late. God please help us!

First - It is biblically correct for a preacher to make his living from the ministry.

1Timothy 5:17-18  Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.

18 For the Scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.

But there are checks and balances in God's word.

1Peter 5:2 Tend the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not of constraint, but willingly, according unto God; nor yet for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

Filthy Lucre - dishonest gain

1Timothy 6:9-11  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Notice Apostle Paul's example:

1Thessalonians 2:9-12  You remember, brothers, our labor and toil. We worked night and day so that we would not become a burden to any of you while we proclaimed the gospel of God to you.

11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Act 20:33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.

Act 20:34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.

Act 20:35 I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Some of the assets of some well known Preachers.

A small sample

18 million dollar homes
70 thousand dollar rings
18 million dollar Lear jets
12 thousand dollar dogs
Summer and winter homes
Million dollar yachts

This is not counting the elaborate building projects that are under construction, all for God's glory. (so they say)

Does it take gold plated stair cases to preach the gospel?
Does it take imported thirty thousand dollar Persian rugs to preach the gospel?
Does a preacher have to wear a Five thousand dollar tailor made suit from Italy to preach?

How about the five thousand dollar Rolex watch---just to see what time it is?

Shame! Shame! Shame!    Why do I say that?

Because the money for these extravagant carnal things is fleeced from the poor in the body of Christ. With the promise of personal gain they make merchandise of those who have lack.

Thus saith the LORD,
Woe!  to you  that have deceitfully robbed the widows and the poor in my name for your life of luxury for you have been found wanting and the ax is laid at the root and you shall be brought low.

Ezekiel 34:9-10  Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

Why is it that these preachers are able to fleece the flock?

2Peter 2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:

2Timothy 4:2-4 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

What ever happened to the message of holiness, righteousness, self denial, abstinence, take up your cross etc.?

My heart is saddened and I find it truly abhorring  the shenanigans that many prosperity preachers use.

shenanigans --The use of tricks to deceive someone usually to extract money from them.

When ever you see such things as these - get up and leave.

For a love offering  (of course)

A piece of the preachers anointed tie.
An anointed stick
A bottle of anointed oil or water. (usually the suggested offering - $100.00 )
A seed to sow
A special piece of paper or cloth
ETC.

Please - Please notice:

Act 19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

A question. Was a love offering asked for?

God's blessings are not for sale!!

Is there a prosperity message that is real?

Yes and there is a principle of sowing and reaping   -   BUT

It must be a message that is in balance with all of God's word and not a teaching within
itself.

Prosperity preachers have a message that is out of balance and it profits no one except themselves. It's all about them, how much I have, how big it is, look at me etc.

I will never forget something that I heard a dear brother in Christ say, many years ago.

He said, "My heavenly Father would give me a brand new Cadillac if I asked for one but because the people that I minister to are poor and have little, I will drive a Chevrolet."

His heart was that a pastor or preacher of any kind should not live above the people.

Notice the words of our Lord and Savior:

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Brother and Sisters----Do you want your hard earned money used for the salvation of  lost souls or used to stroke some preachers vanity with another fancy ring or car?

Please sow your love offerings to ministries that love lost souls and the poor.

Examine the fruit and you will know what type of tree it is.

Just take a look at their clothing, jewelry, car etc.

Listen to what they are saying.  GIVE TO ME and God will bless you.

Many ministries and preachers say that they are all about winning lost souls, if that is true then why does 90% of the money go for fancy buildings and bigger homes for themselves?

Why is it that they must have a bigger building then the other church? (even though they don't have enough members to fill it.)

Why must it be decked out with expensive trivial decorations?

It's all about boasting, pride and vanity.

One preacher of a large church said, "We just got our new bumper stickers in but if your automobile is 5 years or older we don't want it on your car. We want our church to be associated with only the best."

Must I say anymore?

Beware!
