The Bible is divided into two main sections, the Old and the New Testaments.
The Old Testament can be further divided by the following:
Pentateuch (Law)- 5 books
Historical Books - 12 books
Poetic books- 5 books
Prophetic books- 17 books
The New Testament can be divided by the following:
The Bible is inspired by God
The central theme of the Bible is God and his love relationship with His creation mankind.
In a nutshell
Mankind's fall into sin.
For the last 2000 years the church has been added to as people receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. It will all culminate when Christ returns for His church. He will then reign over the whole earth for a 1000 years in righteousness and authority.
